Some people make "goat milk soap" with powdered goat milk, or part goat milk/part
water. I even saw a label that listed "goat milk extract" as the next to last ingredient!
Our soap is made from 100% fresh goat milk from the wonderful goats on our Utah
Historic Century Family Farm.
The bars are at least 3 oz. in weight. I use vegetable oils (soybean, coconut, olive,
canola) in most of my soaps. I also have a "pioneer" based recipe made with lard,
palm oil and coconut oil. I use sodium hydroxide, a necessary ingredient to make
real soap. For the liquid I use 100% fresh goat milk, no water. The ingredients are
listed on the label for each scent and type of goat milk soap.
